Well I admittedly haven't watched too many snaps of Gator football this season, but I'll give you my opinion on Tebow. Last year, I'd agree with you 100%....Tebow's numbers were crazy. And yes, that was mainly out of necessity. This year, his rushing yards and TD's are both down because he has more offensive weapons to spread the wealth with. It's really an embarrassment of riches Tebow has to work with, when you talk about guys like Percy Harvin, Jeff Demps (freshman), Chris Rainey (freshman), Deonte Thompson (freshman), etc., etc. etc. Florida is a better team this year because Tebow doesn't have to do it all by himself.
Last year, did Tebow deserve the Heisman? Maybe. But if the award is supposed to go to college football's best player, I don't know how Darren McFadden didn't win.
