Paul McCartney's new album The Boys Of Dungeon Lane will be released on May 29. The title comes from "Walking with the boys of Dungeon Lane, aimlessly towards a muddy shore," a line in In Liverpool, a demo Paul had recorded in 1992. He was considering the song for inclusion on his Off The Ground album. Here is Days We Left Behind, the new album's first single:
Here is Home To Us, the second single from Paul McCartney's upcoming album The Boys Of Dungeon Lane. The duet with Ringo Starr (who also plays drums on the track) features harmony vocals by Pretenders lead singer Chrissie Hynde and Texas lead singer Sharleen Spiteri.
On January 30, 1969, the Beatles and Billy Preston gave a 42-minute concert on the roof of Apple Corps headquarters in London. A few people complained about the noise. Two police officers showed up but couldn't do anything because the Beatles were on private property. It would be their last live performance.
