I think the only updates Verizon is willing to send me, are ones that slow my phone down in order to make me upgrade.
I just got the dreaded Android 9 (pie) upgrade. Everything is weird and different. And I like how they provide zero-point-zero on how to do things now.
For example, the display of all the active screens used to be stacked like a deck of cards, and there was the usual x at top-right to close. Now they are displayed side by side, but there's absolutely no indication how to close them. After much trial and error, I found you have to drag them up. Nothing points up, or borders the top. You just need to know.

fuck...i know you keep mentioning it but i'm not that scared of Athena murdering me. Its been almost 12 years after all...but perhaps it's a false sense of security. Maybe it's something I need to consider. Either way I have the Chinese spy cam so it will all be recorded for prosperity.
Question. I am currently on Android 12. Just waiting for Android 13 to be updated to my phone OnePlus 10 Pro. Their already coming out with Android 14,. Does anyone know when bc I have went to check updates and it says up to date????
Android 13 was released to the public on August 15, 2022. Not all phones have updated yet. Android 14 will begin beta testing in late July or early August.

Different providers push the updates at different times too. It gives them a chance to add their bloatware …… I mean, “tailor the user experience” for their brand…
So Verizon, ATT, etc don’t always release updates at the same time.
I have a Samsung tablet that I use for controlling my music equipment. It updated to android 13 in December, and now some equipment doesn’t work. I had to use some different hardware to get around it. Long story short (too late) sometimes it’s good to wait a little while after an update is released before you install it.

After the latest update for my S21, two things broke. Hard to explain but one has to do with capitalizing words and the other has to do with 'the phone looks like it woke up but is still in sleep mode'. Annoying.

With Apple, the testing the do on older models is limited. But on the upside they are producing an OS for one basic hardware. Android covers so many phone hardware it is not surprising that updates introduce bugs.
I think if you look it up, there's a food subtitle for each number. Maybe this one is Chalupa.

It could be they now mention the number more. It used to be the food had first letter to match release: A B C D ....
