Are Canadian Subscribers going back to subscribing under US Subs more now?

Hmmm sounds like their pricing and setup just helped create an ongoing black market.

We'll never really know how many Canadian's are actually subscribed to the US service though because of the fact that US addresses are given during the sign up for service.

This is true. I usually see a good deal of Canadian service requests from time to time, and I work in the SIRIUS U.S. queue.

I do see some use fake U.S. addresses (even a few use the SIRIUS New York address!) and have Canadian e-mail addresses.

When the Sirius NASCAR Radio went live in Sept 06 (it was all Sirius Speedway all the time) I cancelled Sirius Canada when they said the channel wouldn't be available until Jan 07. I waited about a week and signed up with Sirius US.

The Canadian service does seem oblivious to the fact it is only hurting itself.

The premium internet alone is something worth having out there as a carrot...and they don't.
