Lynx car dock prob

got my lynx radio today
hooked up the home dock got the signal sent
no prob,took it out to the car
and i cannot get it to work thru the car dock
do i just need to put it in the car dock and get a refresher signal?
i put the new antenna on,any thing i need to know thats diff
about the direct connect thing?

took a ride to the store,came home,went back out to give it one more try!....
and now it is working fine!! i did not do anything different, lol
awesome radio!,the sound is great
