As long as the NFL season happens I'll be happy.

That's your cue Hectic for some doom and gloom post about how the whole world will be canceled. Heh.

it could be that a domino effect happens. If the P5 (and for that matter the G5 in College Football which includes conference like the Mountain West) cancel then the NFL might decide that it's not worth it either. Similar to what happened in March when the Tournament was cancelled then the NBA followed close behind. Not looking good either way. Not to mention that Fall could be another resurgence of the virus, along with the regular flu virus which will be a double whammy.

If it gets to the point where the NFL and the NFLPA need to sit back down to discuss the season I think the best bet is to put them in a bubble like the NHL and NBA.

Then my LSU Tigers get to be reigning champs for even longer!

But I will very much miss college football Saturdays in the fall.

Hey Aaron, off topic but do you plan to set up the NFL fantasy leagues again this season?

It will make no sense if a few conferences attempt to play in the fall and a few others wait for the spring. Total chaos.

If they stay within conference schedule it's doable, but I guarantee you the first Covid-19 case to hit one of the students (or god forbid one of the older coaches) will have that shutdown immediately.

There won't be enough teams for the Bowl games. Some teams might have to play two. At the least the College Football Playoff looks good with staying limited to four teams. That's assuming there will be any teams left to play by the end of fall

I think ultimately the virus is going to make that decision for them. The predictions I'm hearing for flu season don't sound good.

Flu season is going to be just as bad, but the problem is that it's going to make COVID easier for people to catch and it will hit them harder when they get it.

If you are wearing a mask and staying 6 feet away you aren't going to spread or catch the flu. Now if you are all second amendment about that, then sure you will continue to catch crap.

If people are smart and wear their masks and keep their distance, it should be better. My confidence in people isn't high these days.
