Starmate 4 remote

Yeah, so i'm sure the remote is a fairly common one, that a lot of radios share.

Anyway, is it just me, or is the thing extremely sensitive? It seems like you MUST face it DIRECTLY AT the radio in order for it to work. One or two inches could be a big difference in the signal being received or not.

Agreed entirely. This applies to all of the radio remotes I've used.

Yes, it is an IR remote so it does have to have line of sight.
